Good to be back…
April 21st, 2012
Our show in Riverside, CA was a ton of fun last night. THANK YOU to everyone who came out!!! We will be back at Romano’s again for sure soon, if not in May then June
It is our new favorite place the play. The staff were super top notch, and they have the best stage, sound system, lights around. We felt like we were playing a giant stadium
We’ll have some photos to post soon. in the meantime, in case you missed the live broadcast, you can see the recording of the show now at www.Stickam.com/brightmillion — the webcast started a bit before the show, so you have to fast forward a bit to get to where we actually start… and for some reason the stream cut out on the last song, sorry!!
Our next full band show, we are gonna try another web streaming service to compare,, but we heard that the stickam stream seemed to work pretty good. let us know if you were watching how it sounded/ looked to you. We will be continually upgrading our methods/gear for live broadcasting, we are just getting into it at this point, so it should only get better once we start trying better cameras, compression techniques,etc..
don’t forget I have a solo acoustic show tomorrow at Linnaea’s in San Luis Obispo, CA – also gonna be broadcast LIVE at – www.Stageit.com/brightmillion.
thanks again for everyone’s support last night, we will be back in Riverside soon!!

Dan Acoustic solo show- Sunday April 22nd – 2 sets – 7pm & 8pm

“Pay what you want” webcast @ www.Stageit.com/brightmillion
Sunday’s show will be the first time we have broadcast on Stageit.com — so its a trial run
Tune in and let us know how it works for you. We want to find the best/easiest way for Brightmillion’s fans to tune in to all our concerts. It seems to be a site that is well designed for music shows, so fingers crossed…. I believe you have to sign up for an account on the site( put in your email and choose a username) and then “buy tickets” or the show. The tickets are reasonably priced at “pay what you want” so…. yeah, you pay what ever you want! THey have some sort of ticket system on their site where you buy “notes” and use those notes to buy “tickets” for concerts, as well as use them to “tip” the performers.. oh, and the show on sunday is 2 sets, 7pm and 8pm. i’ll be taking alittle break in between, so on the Stageit.com site, there are actually 2 “shows” you can attend, one for each set.
We hope to find a site that will host all of our concerts each time, so if you join Stageit’s site, (hopefully) all of our concerts will be broadcast there, so you can just use your same login/username each time. and I believe they require you to purchase $5 worth of their currency “notes” when you buy the first ticket, so, if you don’t spend all of your “notes” they stay in your account, and you can use them for the next show we broadcast, or to watch another show on their site,etc.. but you probably want to use them all on Brightmillion shows.. !! HAHAHA!
We will be playing some new tunes on the Friday show, we are excited to play them live! We are also playing with our friends Aaron Lee and the Love Vigilantes – if you are in the RIverside, CA area, make sure you come to see them too!
My solo acoustic show on Sunday will be 2 sets, 7pm and 8pm, and probably about 30-40 min each. I have no idea what songs im going to play… so it will be a mix of old and new and in between i suppose… ??? hopefully I can think of enough songs, or else i will just play the same 2 songs over and over and over again
It is getting HOT HOT HOT here in Los Angeles, it went from mild non-winter to summer real quick! time to get the A/C in the ol car fixed i think. i’m sure everyone else in town is thinking the same thing. hmm what else is happening. oh yeah, i’m building a new light show for our live concerts, so sometime in the near future we’ll have some nifty lights to light up our shiny faces when you see us live,i dont think it will all be done by friday’s show, but maybe some of it… until then, I will be soldering, tinkering, and scheming a way to control the master lighting plan with my feet while we play … hmmmmm….. AND if anyone in LA wants to help us out at gigs as a tech/roadie.. let us know! we are willing to pay$$. you prob wont get rich, but hey, its 2 for one, you get to go to our concerts and leave with $.. basically, we could use some help getting our gear set-up and on stage, we seem to have a lot of “Stuff” for 2 people to move around. and tony’s a pretty big wimp.
HAHAHA! just kidding, he usually insists on doing the heavy lifting, I guess he thinks im the fragile singer type or something
